The finest and friendliest will gather at The Boulder Theater on Thursday March 20th. An oyster eating competition, oyster shucking championship, oyster stout, and Jax snacks will all be flowing!
Enjoy watching the fastest shuckers from the finest oyster bars across the globe as they shuck their way to the top. Not for the squeamish, you may need to look away as oyster eaters devour hundreds of oysters in 90 seconds. Jax Chefs will be there selling some of our best Jax snacks, and for a first The Post Brewing Co will be bringing you our infamous Emersum Oyster Stout (for purchase).
The VIP experience – $75. Early entry. Exclusive access to the Boulder Theater from 6pm – 7pm. Jax Oyster shuckers shucking live. Passed Jax appetizers. Complimentary glass of champagne. Five raffle tickets included in purchase.

Jax Fish House Is Seafood!
Consistently voted to the “Best of” Awards, Jax Fish House has served up the finest and freshest the ocean has to offer since 1994. Sourcing dock-to-door, executive chef Sheila Lucero has built long-standing relationships with coastal fishermen to ship daily the freshest and highest quality seafood available. The captain of “The Hired Gun” fishboat in Florida ships his best redfish direct to Chef Lucero, and the tender meat in the signature Jax Lobster Roll comes direct from the “Lil’ More Tail” vessel out of Maine.
If seafood is not your fancy, Jax offers diners a farm-to-table experience no matter your preference and has since 1994. Chef Lucero partners with Colorado’s Best Beef for the award-winning burger and steaks, Wisdom Farms for our natural, hormone-free chicken, and Tenderbelly Farm for the most mouth-watering pork and bacon you’ve ever tasted.
Jazz Brunch & Jax Lunch
Jazz Brunch – your favorite Sunday activity just got better…with live Jazz music. Come join Jax and the Hot Club of Pearl Street Band for a unique brunch that will have you groovin’ to the tunes and salivating over your plate! We are keeping our brunch fresh as ever with signature items such as the Blue Crab Cake Benedict, Lemon Curd Pancakes, and Lobster Scramble. Pair these with a Jax Mary, Mimosa, or Thai Chelada and your Sunday will be instantly happy!
Jax Lunch – the freshest, fastest and smartest midday menu around. Stop in Monday thru Friday, from 11:30am til 2pm, and see what it means to experience unconditional hospitality in the middle of the day. Pan-roasts, Sandwiches, made to order Soup and many of your favorite Jax classics, served in the liveliest atmosphere in Glendale. If you’re in the mood for a late lunch or mid-afternoon pick me up, Jax is serving fresh shucked oysters and a limited menu from 2pm with Happy Hour and Dinner beginning at 4pm. Clearly there’s never a bad time to be here.
